Almost every taekwondo program, ours included, is built from the same handful of line items:
- Membership fee — paid annually, covering your child’s student file, ID, and rank record.
- Monthly tuition — the recurring fee for regular classes, typically priced by how many sessions per week the program includes.
- Uniform (dobok) — a one-time purchase, sometimes bundled into the first year’s membership fee.
- Belt testing / grading fees — charged each time a student tests for their next rank, since a certified examiner and the rank certificate itself have real costs.
- Optional costs — competition entry fees, sparring gear, or event patches, only if your child chooses to compete.
Monthly tuition is the number that varies most, because it depends on class frequency, class size, and how experienced the coaching staff is.
What Similar Programs in Metro Manila Charge
Every academy prices differently, but based on published and publicly shared rates from other Metro Manila taekwondo programs, group classes generally fall somewhere between ₱1,000 and ₱4,000 per month, depending on how many sessions per week are included and whether it’s pay-per-class or a monthly package.
